With a flat-screen TV and a washing machine, the apartment at The Starry Rock was like having my own mini entertainment center and personal laundromat. It was so convenient to catch up on my favorite shows and not worry about finding a laundromat in town.
Lack of storage.

This place was absolutely amazing! It was super clean and tidy, and the host, Susie, was a total lifesaver. The area was incredibly quiet and everyone we met was so friendly. The convenience of having a Co-op grocery store and takeaways just a stone's throw away was mind-blowing. And let me tell you about the sweet shop below the flat - it was jaw-dropping! The staff there were so friendly and we stocked up on sweets for months! The apartment itself was fantastic, with a well-equipped kitchen and living room. And the best part? The host, Susie, was so friendly and the accommodation exceeded all our expectations for a great price. If you don't mind a bit of driving, there are so many amazing things to do within 1-1.5 hours in all directions. We especially loved the Arbroath Cliffs. All in all, this was an absolutely incredible stay and we can't wait to come back!

The flat was beautifully located in the centre of town, making it easy to access everything we needed. The flat itself was clean and nicely decorated, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. Despite a slight inconvenience with the lack of WiFi and occasional noise from a nearby bar, our overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend The Starry Rock for a memorable stay in Kirriemuir!

Susie, our wonderful host, saved our break in Scotland after a previous let down. The flat was clean, tidy, and light, with a well-equipped kitchen. The area was quiet and friendly, with a convenient Co-op nearby, a bar opposite, and takeaways within a 2-minute walk. The Starry Rock sweet shop below the flat was a highlight, with friendly staff and delicious handmade treats. It served as the perfect summer base for exploring the stunning glens, mountains, and cliffs of the area.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The value for money at Starry Rock was excellent. The room was clean, tidy, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and convenient, with friendly locals and nearby amenities. Susie, the host, was wonderful and accommodated our late check-in. The Starry Rock sweet shop below the flat was a highlight, with fantastic sweets and friendly staff.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with a good frying pan for making eggs and maybe a bathroom shelf.

The flat was well equipped with everything we needed for our Christmas stay, except a good frying pan for breakfast. The location was excellent, with local shops, a pub, and a supermarket within easy reach. Off-road parking was available nearby, right opposite the police station. The flat itself was beautifully decorated and clean. One major advantage was that it was a short drive from Glenshee skiing centre, perfect for winter sports enthusiasts like us.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the access to the flat was via steep stairs, which might be problematic for some people.
